Gifts I Received

How many gifts did you receive this Christmas? Me? I just received a few, a body wash from The Body Shop, a pillow, and two funny tshirts from my sister. It doesn’t matter though because what’s important is that I get to meet my friends and my family. The kids also didn’t receive my gift because we don’t want them to expect gifts during Christmas as well. Hubby? He got one from me. I gave him a keychain, lolz.

This keychain I chose myself, it was fun to give, click. It's fun to give someone something.

Anyway, what’s important is spending the holidays with my family. It’s more important than getting material gifts.

10 Months!

Times fly fast! The twins are now ten months! It’s the same time last year, Christmas, when I could do nothing but lie down while hubby and his parents were in a beach resort and enjoying the sun! I was still pregnant with the twins but now, there are almost standing and soon, they will be walking.

They now have four teeth, can sit on their own, babbles a lot and have stranger anxiety. I can’t wait for them to walk already so that we can bring them with us when we go to the mall. Same time next year, hopefully, we can go to the beach with them.

Gift for Dad

Christmas is already this coming Sunday but I don’t have a gift for my dad yet. I was thinking of giving him a PSP but I don’t have the budget for it. I know that’s what will make him happy, being a game junkie. PSP is a bit expensive. If I couldn’t buy it, most probably I’ll just buy him a flashlight with duracell procell included. He’s collecting it so I’m pretty sure he’ll like it too. Another gift will be a polo or a shirt but that’s my sister’s gift to him already. Hmmm, what should I give him? I still have a few days to think about it and a day to buy it. I must find something to give him!

Anniversary Gift

Hubby and I will be celebrating our fifth year wedding anniversary next year. This year, we were not able to celebrate because I’ve just given birth to the twins. But it was the best anniversary so far because hubby really did surprised me by having a bouquet of roses delivered at home. I was truly shocked and happy because it was the first time he surprised me. He said he found out a nearby flower shop when he went to the mall for some errands so he ordered one for me. He said if he didn’t find one, he would have ordered online. I asked him who gave him the idea of giving me flowers and he said it’s his friend in the US, who just gave his wife Pro Flowers San Diego on their anniversary as well.

Next year, I wish we could go to Boracay or Palawan. Just a wishful thinking because we can’t leave the babies behind.
