Wants to Go Back to My Previous Weight
Feb
My pre-pregnancy weight is only 110lbs. That was nine months ago. Now, I weigh 162lbs! I’ve gained 52 lbs and I think I will be at around 170lbs when I reach full-term. It’s as expected because I’m carrying twins. Probably my weight after I’ve given birth will be at around 140lbs but that’s still a lot of weight. I don’t want to stay big forever and I want to go back to my original weight as soon as possible.
Breastfeeding can help me lose weight in six months to one year. I don’t know how to lose weight fast in three months but maybe because I’ll be feeding twins and take care of a toddler at the same time, I’ll get back to my original weight earlier.
How to Know if Twins are Identical or Fraternal
Feb
The most common question asked for parents of twins are if the babies are identical or fraternal. Many thinks that just because the twins have the same physical appearance when they were born, they are identical. This is what I thought too before until I asked my gynecologist about it. I’m pregnant with a monochorionic-diamniotic twins and thought that it means my twins are identical. I asked her if that’s for sure but she said that’s not always the case. Here’s what she said:
If the twins are male/female, then it’s fraternal and usually fraternal twins have separate placentas. Twins sharing the same placenta have the same gender but it doesn’t mean that they are identical though the chances are higher. If the twins share one placenta and one amnion, they are identical.

Short for Her Age
Feb
I’m not sure what should be the average height for a three-year old girl but I’m thinking Iris is a little short for her age. She’s only turning three though but I’ve been seeing kids who are tall and they have just turned two years old. They are quite bigger than Iris too. Maybe because she hasn’t been drinking milk that much when I stopped breastfeeding her last year or it’s just in her genes. Her dad is quite short too, with the height the same as mine, which is 5’4″.
It’s okay if Iris is not that tall because she’s a girl. She can just look for hgh releasers when she’s older but she’s too young for that. Her dad is the one who is conscious of his height and he’s the one interested about how to get taller.

Officially On Leave
Feb
I’m now officially on leave! I’ve asked my boss if it’s okay for me to take my two months leave now since my husband doesn’t want me to be stressed at work. Being a programmer really requires lots of work, that sometimes I have to work extended hours just to finish my task, especially if there’s a deadline. My husband said that I should take it easy now and just prepare for our twins’ birth.
My boss said yes and that I should take it easy. He said that he’s looking forward to me coming back to work on April or May because there might be new projects for the company. I said I’ll be glad to work on new projects when I come back. I think I’ll be missing work while waiting for my twins since I’m used to being busy. I wonder if I can apply and be hired for sales jobs for a while that allows me to work from home? I hope my husband will agree so that I could still help earn for our family.
