Biophysical Profile Scoring (BPS)

I just had my ultrasound yesterday for my babies’ Biophysical Profile Scoring. My perinatologist recommended me to have this kind of test to determine the health of the twins. It was funny at first since he didn’t remember that it was he who told me to have another test, even asking my “Why are you here?”. I told that he was the one who suggested for me to have BPS after a week.

He checked the fetal tone, fetal movement, fetal breathing and amniotic fluid of each baby and I’m so happy the total score is 8, a perfect one. That means, that the babies are okay.
