Another Urinary Tract Infection
Jan
I had our helper go to New World Laboratory this afternoon to submit urine samples for urinalysis. One sample was from me and the other one was for my daughter. Hubby and I decided to have me and my daughter’s urine sample tested to check for infections. For me, I just want to be sure that I don’t have UTI because I don’t want to suffer pre-term labore. For our daughter, she’s having a mild fever since yesterday and we are thinking UTI could be the reason.
I got the result of the urinalysis and found out that I don’t have any infections, but my daughter has. There were some traces of blood and the red blood cell count are quite high. She had urinary tract infection six months ago and it happened again.

Choosy with Vitamins
Jan
Hubby is quite strict in what vitamins to take not only for himself, but also for our daughter as well. Before, he used to take this ascorbic acid but when he found out about sodium ascorbate, he began to take it instead because of good reviews. For our daughter, even if the doctor prescribed a vitamin for her appetite, he still checked the internet for reviews about the vitamin.
He’s choosy when it comes to medicines and vitamins. He wants to make sure that the given vitamin would good when taken. I always told him that of course vitamins are good that’s why it’s given by doctors. He said there are some vitamins that are better than the others that’s why he always looks for a review first. He always checks different review sites and oneadayvitamin.net is one of those.

She’s Got Fever
Jan
My daughter is sick again. Yesterday, my mom noticed she’s hot but our helper said she’s just like that. I didn’t think of getting her temperature since I am about to go to the doctor for my ultrasound. I only thought about it when we got back from the hospital.
I checked her temperature and was shocked that it’s 37.5 Celsius. I then told her dad about it and since then, we were thinking what causes it. She just had her checkup last Tuesday and everything’s well. We are hoping it’s nothing serious. Her temperature has risen to 38.7 Celsius when I checked again at 2am so I gave her another dose of analgesic. This morning, her temperature is below 37 Celsius and hoping she’s okay now.

Getting Back in Shape
Jan
I’ve put on a lot of pounds since I got pregnant and I’m only on my 29th week. My doctor didn’t ask me to go on diet since I’m having twins and I need to put on a lot of weight to lessen the risk of pre-term labor. I also am not worried since I know I will get back to my pre-pregnancy weight in due time since I will also be breastfeeding my twins. I will also reduce my food intake anyway but my mom said I should go on a diet when I breastfeed my twins. Oh well, if ever I don’t get back to my old weight, I’ll just look for best fat burning exercises I could do.
