Congenital Anomaly Scan
My doctor had be referred for another ultrasound and this time, it’s for Congenital Anomaly Scan. The procedure was different, where the sonologist measures the head and check for abnormalities with a fetus.
I expected the procedure to last for at least an hour as my doctor told me, especially since I’m having twins. But the procedure only lasted for less than 30 minutes.
Anyway, the result is okay. My placenta is now anterior and the babies seem to be okay. What I’m worried about though is the other baby’s heart rate is lower than the other one. It is still a little above the minimum threshold for the normal range but still, I can’t help but worry.
I hope the heartbeat of the other twin improves in the next days. I leave it all up to the Lord and I have a strong faith in HIM that he’ll protect the twins in my womb, and me.
