One Crib or Two?
We already have a crib which was used by my daughter before. Now that we are expecting twins this time, my husband and I are thinking that we need two cribs. The crib that we have is actually big that two babies can fit, but I’m worried about it being broken while they are inside it in a few months time when they are around six months old.
I’ve been searching the internet about getting one or two cribs for twins. Some hospital recommends that the twins sleep together as much as possible while some recommends not putting them together in one crib due to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Some says that one crib at first then eventually separating them after six months.
I think it will be better to have them in one crib for now. We just have to be sure that they are not that close since sometimes, they might hit each other when they got unswaddled. We’ll just buy another crib when needed.
